ALE & EVA’S FUN AND COLORFUL WEDDING

HOW DID YOU MEET?

We met when we were 13, we were classmates in high school.

TELL US ABOUT THE DAY! WHAT WAS THE THEME, INSPIRATION, THE MOST IMPORTANT AND MOST FUN PART FOR YOU?

We wanted a wedding full of joy, happiness, and colors. The main color was navy blue.
The theme was “funfair”, we had the engagement shooting in Winter wonderland (Hyde Park) and we wanted to bring the same fun and colorful scenario in our big day.
The cake, decorations, and table chart were all linked to this. We were helped a lot by Paola our photographer (who gave us great advice) and got brilliant ideas from Pinterest.
We had a lot of fun with some games organised by our friends and also dancing with all our guests!

YOUR WEDDING PLANNER

We had Amy from the venue who helped us, our friend Gabriella and Eva’s aunt Silvia who went there to organise everything in the morning, and Paola who helped scheduling everything as there were a lot of things planned during the all day.

Flowers

We got flowers from Bergdorf’s Flowers. Katja is always super available and brings loads of ideas. We had the perfect bouquets and table decorations. We mainly used wildflowers and sunflowers.

In Italy is very common to give “bomboniere” to all the guests as wedding favors. We ordered them in Italy (Scatola Magica) it was a little gift (wine bottle stoppers from Thun with sunflowers on them) with Italian confetti.

DECORATIONS

To add some colors/decor the venue we bought on Amazon letters and colored them (MRS & MRS); bought colored frames (Tiger Shop) and put some of our engagement photos.
We organised a photo booth corner and put one camera in each table with directions on what they had to capture.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Paola De Paola was the best choice ever!! Our photos are better than what we imagined, they are natural and capture every important moment and emotion of that day. We consider Paola a friend and she was not only an outstanding photographer but also she helped us before and during the day to have everything organised. The photos are exactly what we wanted and the album is a piece of art: she has this incredible talent that she is able to tell stories through her job.

ENTERTAINMENT

Our music was booked via Sound Generation. We had 1 violin and 1 cello for the ceremony (it was just amazing! We couldn’t have chosen a better option) and a DJ in the evening.

CAKE

Our cake was a masterpiece by Cakes by Robin. We asked them to create a slide with us on it (like a photo of our engagement shoot) – it looked amazing and it was delicious. We decided to have a marble cake.

Eva’s mom surprised us with some butterflies, we opened a box and let them free. It brought again joy in our special day.
