SASSI HOLFORD’S 2020 ENAMOUR DRESS COLLECTION LAUNCH AT THE RSA HOUSE

London-based venue RSA House has been selected by bridal designer Sassi Holford as the setting for the unveiling of her new 2020 Enamour Dress Collection.

RSA House hosted the Sassi Holford and Friends event on 30th October, 2019, with guests enjoying a runway show displaying the gorgeous gowns in the collection, followed by a meet and greet with the designer herself as well as a range of suppliers.

Sassi Holford stated, “In a truly historic part of central London, the Georgian splendour of RSA House was the perfect location for me to launch my 2020 Collections of bridal and occasion wear.
“I loved the setting of the Great Room for my salon show, and then to contrast that with the modern industrial feel of the vaults where our guests were entertained and entranced by the very best wedding suppliers in London”.

Drinks were served throughout the night, including Cosmopolitan and Bramble Gin cocktails, while guests were treated to a feast prepared by Executive Chef Darren Archer, who selected dishes from the Autumn/Winter menu including Syrian spiced lamb kleftiko with red pepper hummus, pomegranate, pine kernels, and parsley, while the venue’s Northern European market stall menu was also showcased with items such as a selection of Cannon and Cannon British artisan salamis and cured meats as well as chorizo Scotch eggs or Black Forest bacon and wild mushroom sausage rolls. The food was nicely tied up with an impressive pudding table, created live in front of guests and finished off with a dry ice effect, featuring rhubarb custard tartlets, vanilla and raspberry macarons and raspberry cupcake chocolates, amongst others.

Expert suppliers

An expert team of suppliers were on hand to make the event a triumph; Fiona Kelly photographed the event, Rosalind Miller supplied the cakes, Mary Jane Vaughn created the floral arrangements, and Matt Maurice provided the music for the duration. A full list of suppliers can be found below.

Guests also got the chance to visit the Vaults underneath the venue, where they chatted to Sassi, the RSA team and the suppliers.

The successful event follows a period of achievement for the venue, which was announced as the winner of the Best Wedding Venue in the Most Popular category at the Hire Space Awards. The venue was up against Queens House, Town Hall Hotel and Clissold House.

Discussing the accolade, Olivia Parrott, Wedding and Private Events Sales & Marketing Executive, RSA House, says, “Winning this award means so much to me. I am incredibly proud of this achievement and the team behind delivering the unforgettable weddings we host at RSA House. We consistently receive positive feedback from our wedding couples about the service team, uniqueness and flexibility of the venue and high quality of the food. We have 11 event spaces, all of which differ in style – some are traditionally elegant and beautiful whilst others are very contemporary – which gives great flexibility that isn’t offered by many venues. It is a special space and I am very proud to represent RSA as a wedding venue.”

RSA House has also launched brand new wedding branding as well as a new brochure to complement the branding.
